Aprikoskärnor
Det finns en naturlig gräns för hur många aprikoskärnor som säkert kan konsumeras vid ett tillfälle eller under en dag. Eftersom en stor mängd aprikoskärnor inte är bra bör man bör vara uppmärksam på kroppens signaler. Tre av tecken på toxicitet från alltför många kärnor är yrsel, dimsyn och illamående. Om något av detta inträffar så kom ihåg hur många kärnor du ätit och se till att du inte upprepa den erfarenheten. Om symptomen kvarstår eller om de är allvarliga, se en läkare omedelbart, eftersom cyanidföreningar förgiftning är en allvarlig fråga. Detta inträffar dock inte om man använder sunt förnuft. Den vanliga hållbarhetstiden för aprikoskärnor vid rumstemperatur är åtta månader. Vid kallare förvaring kan det handla om mer än ett år.
