Organic dark chocolate with ground apricot kernels

melted-chocolate This the first recipe I tried to mix apricot kernels into. The bitterness of the dark chocolate blended with the apricot kernel and ended up tasting amazing. My wife now has no problem eating 10 apricot kernels a day.
Ingredients

  1. 1 bar of organic dark chocolate (80% cocoa mass)
  2. 8-12 Hunza aprikoskärnor (depending on preference)

Directions

  1. Ground the aprikoskärnor (Magic Bullet works nice)
  2. break chocolate in small pieces and heat slowly in a saucepan
  3. When the chocolate is fully melted take off heat and stir in the ground aprikoskärnor
  4. Pour contents on wax paper and smooth out to desired thickness
  5. Set the wax paper in the refrigerator, allow to chill for 30 minutes
  6. ENJOY!

Natural Vanilla Ice Cream with ground apricot kernels

aprikoskarnor_vanilla_ice_cream This the second recipe I tried to mix apricot kernels into. The sweetness of the ice cream and flavor of the vanilla infused with the apricot flavor making a delicious dessert. My son now has no problem eating 3 apricot kernels a day. =)
Ingredients

  1. 1 bowl of natural vanilla ice cream
  2. a splash of cream
  3. 3-5 Hunza aprikoskärnor (depending on preference)
  4. Toppings: organic dark chocolate sauce, sprinkles, wild raspberries

Directions

  1. Ground the aprikoskärnor (Magic Bullet works nice)
  2. Scoop ice cream in a mixer
  3. Add milk for easier mixing
  4. Add ground apricot kernels
  5. Mix Ingredients
  6. Scoop into a bowl and add toppings if desired.
  7. ENJOY!
